Partnerships

Collaboration is one of A Rocha’s five commitments. We work with other groups and organizations through partnering at the local, national, and international level.

Church Partners

With generous support from the Lilly Foundation, we are developing a church partner program to support Christian faith communities in the journey to care for God’s creation.

Our church partner program is currently in the pilot phase, and will open widely in Fall 2025.  If you are interested in being a part of A Rocha USA’s church partner program when it launches, let us know! We’d love to stay in touch.

National Partners

We partner with organizations involved in similar work to mutually develop programs and resources. Our National Partners include:

Duke Divinity, Creation Justice Ministries, Au Sable, BioLogos, Energy for Purpose, Plant with Purpose, Western Theological Seminary, Matthew 25, Circlewood, and Climate Stewards USA

Local Partners

Our Conservation Projects partner with local groups and agencies to accomplish more through collaborative efforts. Learn more about our local partners in Texas and Florida on our Conservation Project pages.

A Rocha Worldwide

A Rocha was founded in 1983 as a Field Study Center and Bird Observatory in Southern Portugal. We now have a presence on six continents, with organizations in over 20 countries, and a network of friends in many more.

Our conservation work includes scientific study, environmental education, habitat protection and restoration, sustainable livelihoods, community engagement and theology and church programs. The A Rocha Commitment to Creation Care outlines the biblical basis of all our work.

All A Rocha organizations share five core commitments. Under the A Rocha Worldwide Family Covenant, we seek opportunities to work together to increase our conservation impact, grow our geographical reach, engage youth and young people in our work, and strengthen our engagement with Christian communities.
